5-Minute Breakfast Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1 c. frozen fruit (any kind), softened
  • 1/4 c. half-and-half
  • 1 tsp. honey (optional)
  • 1/4 c. nuts, finely chopped (optional)

Place fruit in blender and blend well. Add cream and honey and blend until smooth. Pour into drinking glass and eat.

Calories (with honey, no nuts): 181
Calories from Fat: 62

If protein is desired, add a scoop or two of whey protein powder.

If less fat is desired, combine cream or half-and-half with almond milk.
