Taco Salad

Ingredients:

  • Meat:
  • 2 lbs. ground beef
  • 2 tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 1/2 tbsp. cumin powder
  • 2 tbsp. granulated garlic
  • 1 tbsp. rice wine vinegar
  • Salad:
  • 5-6 leaves romaine lettuce, torn into small pieces
  • 3 medium tomatoes, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 can black olives, chopped (optional)
  • Toppings:
  • 6-8 oz. cheese, grated
  • 1 container sour cream (any size)
  • 1 batch or 2 cups guacamole (optional)
  • 1 can black or pinto beans (optional)
  • 2-3 limes, halved across (optional)

In large bowl, combine meat and seasonings. Transfer to skillet and brown. While beef is browning, prepare vegetables.

Combine salad ingredients, or organize in separate bowls for salad bar. Place everything together and allow servees to combine ingredients to their liking.
